Workshops and Retreats

Workshops and Retreats

Movement Life offers workshops and retreats. In a Workshop, the schedule is organized around daily movement classes and activities. In a Retreat, the schedule enhances complete rest, with movement lessons to facilitate winding down, hence renewal.

Workshops and Retreats

The movement work, (Feldenkrais Method, Anat Baniel Method, Hatha Yoga) is focused on improving daily life, and addressing the needs of the individuals. Base-line nutritional guidance to achieve harmony in the body and in nature, and lessons designed to enhance clarity and move beyond fear are integral to the program. This applies to:

  • Executives
  • Performers
  • Athletes
  • Artists
  • Writers
  • Anyone who wants to sharpen and enrich their lives.

Gatherings in France, generally lasting one week, are held in at Chateau de la Boulaye in Normandy, two hours by train from Paris. Individuals and small groups are welcome. The accommodations are private and generous. Groups can choose a theme, such as juice-fasting, improving one’s golf game, riding, role preparation (for actors, dancers, musicians), overcoming fear, improving writing, leadership, and so on.

La Boulaye is a center of learning and exploration in the arts and humanities. The estate is also a horse farm where horses are trained with great sensitivity in a way that complements the movement and awareness work with human beings under discussion in MovementLife.com.

The horses may be a part of the workshop and retreat experience. The surrounding area is deeply historic and wonderful for exploring.

Retreats and Workshops may also be organized in other locations. We are open to suggestion.
